from my previous posting about the cherry picking,i mention about a friend of my housemate who join us that day.and i did also mention that he was,i mean he is deaf.i wish to share the experience here.
his name is brian,a canadian,whom my housemate knew through the internet (bukan awek je leh dapat dari intenet tau hehe).he came and stayed here since a week ago,but last saturday was the first time i really interacted with the guy.
i dont have anything against deaf people,is just that this is the first time i have the chance to interact with one and i dont have any idea how to communicate. luckily, brian can read lips,so everytime i want to talk to him,i just need to say it in front of him,other than that i tried to used hand signals,(which i created,not the real sign langguage) to make him to understand me easily,he did the same thing,maybe for the same reason.
when we were in the car,he tried to communicate with me by using an interactive books full of pictures,he told me,he likes to travel,and have travel to a lot of country,he even had explore japan more than i ever did.the more interesting thing was,he told me,by using the book,that he has retired,and the reason was he is rich.
when we were at the diner,i sat in front of him,so that we can communicate earlier,it might just look as if im studying him,i guess i was curious.the hand signals that he made sometime made me laugh,but as he was laughing also,i guess i didnt offend him,frankly we really did have a good time,telling jokes to each other without using words.
twice i tried to use the real sign langguage to talk to him,i guess my signals was flimsy,as he seems not to understand it the first time i tried,but then he smiled and nod,even though the sign i did wasnt good,at least he understand.
knowing him was really a new experience to me,i kinda wish one day i can learn more sign langguage so that if i ever had any chance to see him again,or,to meet any other person like him,i can be communicate thus be friends with them.
every 3rd sunday of june,the world celebrate fathers day,ok maybe not the whole world but all of them who remembers it.in our culture,fathers day celebration is not really a culture.some even choose to ignore.maybe the fact that fathers day is not a holiday,i mean an off day for those working or schooling,but how does that explain valentine?
hmm,i dont know,whatever it is,as usual,because of my distance from my dad,or as i call him abah,i didnt have the chance to celebrate today with him,the only thing i did,is call him as soon as i woke up this morning,and that was 12pm haha.we chat for quite sometime and thats about it.knowing he is resting well and recovering from his knee operation makes me fell good.

tghari tadi aku pi sakuranbo gari (cherry picking) somewhere kat yonezawa ni gak.osmet aku ajak sebab die nak bawak tetamu die dari canada jalan2 area sini.as ni pon tahun terakhir aku kat sini,why not,aku ikot je aa.sampai tempat tu dalam kol 12 lebih,setengah jam je dari umah aku.kitorang pi 4 orang satu kete.dengan bayaran 1000yen sorang,leh petik aa bape banyak pon cherry yang ade,and makan kat situ,nak panjat pokok pon boleh,derang sediakan tangge tok panjat.
tapi unlucky for us,as today was the first day tempat cherry picking to bukak,so tak banyak pokok yang bebetol masak,in fact ade yang lom masak langsong,so most of the time kitorang stick to 4-5 pokok yang bebetol cherry die dah masak.sebab 4 orang je pi,(yang lain malas),so kurang aa meriah macam dulu aku pi,2 tahun lepas.tapi still ok,sebab aku banyak gak borak2 ngan tetamu canadian osmet aku tu.as die sebenarnye deaf,so perborakan kitorang lebih pada hand langguage(yang aku create sendri hehe).takpe aa,nanti aku citer lebih lanjot pasal die besok.
takde mende sangat aku leh citer pasal sakuranbo gari ni,so korang click je aa kat gamba yang ade,and nanti akan jadik gamba besar.tata
